Chapterly Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

Chapterly is a chapter-management app used by fraternities and sororities to run chat, calendar, points tracking, and member directories for their own chapter. This page explains what Chapterly collects and how it's used.

What we collect

How it's used

Everything collected is used only to operate Chapterly for your chapter — showing your profile to chapter members, delivering messages and notifications, and tracking points and events. Your chapter's data is isolated from every other chapter using the app; members of one chapter cannot see another chapter's data.

What we don't do

Who can see what

Content you post (messages, whiteboard posts, calendar events) is visible to approved members of your own chapter, subject to that chapter's own channel/permission settings. Your chapter's owner and designated admins can see membership status, roles, and — if granted that permission — house points activity and moderation reports.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and personal data at any time from Settings → Delete My Account inside the app. This removes your login and personal information; messages you sent remain visible to other chapter members but are no longer attributed to your account.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. If your chapter's owner removes the organization, its data is removed as well.

Children's privacy

Chapterly is intended for college-age fraternity/sorority members and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change. Continued use of Chapterly after an update means you accept the revised policy.
